From joining an impromptu salsa dance circle in Plaza de Mina to organizing a cookout on the beach, you will have many opportunities to experience the infectious gaditano spirit of a carefree, warm approach to living (and loving) life. Located on the Costa de la Luz, Spain’s southern Atlantic coast, and famous for its enthralling culture, unique history, and glorious beaches, Cádiz is popular with young people and families from all over Spain. “Venga! Put your mind at ease, knowing that we will meet your child at any time right after arrival at the airport and you will have the option of traveling with the chaperoned group flight. If 10 or more students travel on the designated group flight, a chaperone will accompany them from JFK Airport to the program location.

Seville is one of the most popular and exciting cities in Spain! You will have a chance to visit this former capital of the Moorish kingdom, famous for its century-old flamenco tradition and its thriving artistic culture. You’ll see the world famous Alcazar, the ancient castle of Spain’s Arabic rulers, tour the Guadalquivir river, and climb to the top of the Giralda tower. Students will also travel to Córdoba. At times a capital of both Roman and Eastern rule, the city of Córdoba has one of the world’s most extensive and fascinating cultural heritages.

Our students come from all over the United States, some of them – from all over the world. The typical group size is between 20 and 40 students, there are usually more girls than boys. The students will have the option of flying on the chaperoned “designated” flight from JFK to the program site (if there is a sufficient number), or flying independently. We will meet all students at the arrival airport and take them to the program residence. We encourage our students to arrive between the hours of 12 noon and 5 pm local time.
Our students will eat authentic, balanced, quality local and international food at local cafés and restaurants. We do not do fast food, cafeteria food, or tourist traps. Our students will have a chance to sample authentic European and international cuisine, including French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Mediterranean, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Mexican and others.
In the mornings, students will have breakfast before the morning classes. Breakfast will typically include coffee, tea, juice, eggs, pastries, fruit, sandwiches, and more. For lunch, students will typically have sandwiches, salad, pasta, tapas, sushi, pizza, burgers, seafood, meat, vegetables, or other foods. A typical dinner will usually include pasta, salad, steak, seafood, burger, chicken, sushi, ramen, vegetables, tikka masala, paella, and other delicious dishes.
We tailor the menu to our students’ preferences and give them plenty of choices. We accommodate vegetarian, vegans, kosher, and other diets.

You will live just steps away from Nice’s picturesque Vieux Port and the lively markets and restaurants of Vieux Nice in a modern student residence. Each student will have a private studio, private bathroom and kitchenette, with high-speed Internet, next door to other students and staff.

Every student on the program chooses two classes as their academic focus: a major and an elective. The French major class meets every morning Monday to Friday while electives meet three afternoons a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

In addition, we offer individual tutoring and intensive small group workshops, for those who want to challenge themselves and see a dramatic improvement in their French proficiency. Our language classes are taught in a fun, interactive, experiential way, maximizing intensive language and cultural immersion.
Important note: Curfew and Free Time
The students will have approximately 2 – 3 hours of free time per day, subject to our safety rules and guidelines. The curfew is at 10:30 – 11:00 pm, subject to change at the program director’s discretion.
